Please consider making a donation to PrivaFone in order to support development of our secure VoIP products.  PrivaFone, Inc. is NOT a charity or non-profit organization.  However, the reasons why you should consider this request are listed below:

·        We are developing a secure SIP softphone and PBX server which will give people the ability to make secure SIP calls using symmetric encryption with key lengths up to 8192 bits (AES).   Symmetric encryption defeats man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks and a key length of 8192 bits would take an adversary with the largest resources imaginable over 100 years to crack.

·        Our PBX Server will solve the problem of getting through firewalls, and in Covert Mode will disguise the fact that a SIP call even is taking place by encrypting SIP packets a second time under HTTPS.  The Server easily can be uploaded to a website anywhere in the world, allowing for secure and covert communication outside the reach of adversaries.

·        We plan on porting the Softphone to mobile operating systems, allowing for truly anonymous, secure and covert communications to/from any wireless access point on earth.  We plan to upgrade the Server with web proxy, email, IM and videoconferencing capability, so that people may use their server for private and secure web browsing and communications.

·        Our code will be based on sipX.  The source—although proprietary—will be published.  This will allow full inspection of the source for cryptographic integrity.  Other developers will be welcome to use our code as reference in developing their own.

·        Our goal is to develop the best SIP softphone/server in the world, with truly outstanding security and ease of use.  Our target market is individuals and corporations with a need for much greater security than presently is available.  We doubt whether an application of this magnitude otherwise will be developed.

·        The more donations we receive, the more time our engineers can put into designing the best communications software possible given our present understanding of science and technology.
